I use Microsoft Outlook extensively to organize my emails, contacts and schedules. I have it sync with both my cellphone and Google Calendar. I like Google Calendar because not only I can access it from any computer and I can have several calenders. One of which is for all my banking schedules. With all those bills to pay and at different days, Google Calendar definitely keep me on top of my payment schdules. I even have it setup so that Google Calendar can send me a cellphone SMS message to remind me of some of the larger payments are due.

However, when you print Calendar in monthly format, the appointment details are truncated in both Google Calendar and MS Outlook 2007. Basically, you only get half of the details of your appointment. In MS Outlook 2003, the details were wrap to the next line. Not sure why Microsoft chose to truncate details in Outlook 2007.

I’ve finally found a utility program from Microsoft themselves to help you print Calendars in many different formats.  Microsoft Calendar Printing Assistant for Outlook 2007 solves my problems with truncated appointment details. It came with quite a few layout templates and with different styles. It is a separate program that works with Outlook, and it is very easy to use.

There are also several templates for those who want to make their own Photo Calendar as a Christmas gift for their family.

#6 Self Mastery

Winners always complete what they start. Therefore, you should start less things, but do it well. Focus on completing what you have started.

Your mind can work for you or against you - This is so true with your money.

In regards to attitudes about money: 89% of us will treat money the exact same way as our parents did, however the other 11% of people will go to the other extreme and do the exact opposite of what their parents did with money.

So you have to decide for yourself as to how you will choose to think about money.

#5  Whatever It Takes

Do whatever it takes to succeed. Be 100% Committed.

Commitment is defined as to “Dovote oneself unreservedly.”

The Wealthy Warrior has no such thing as excuses.

Reasons or Results  -  You can’t have both, you can have one OR the other. Everyone has reasons, or even a list of reasons of why they failed, when they have no results. If you want results, then you should have no reasons.

Never Give Up -when you give up, you are really giving up on yourself. You are done!

You are the only person who determines  you the results that you obtain.  Don’t be your own  enemy.

#4  Self Trust

Many people are scared right now wondering what might happen in the economy because of the recession. Many people do not trust that they will be O.K. This is because they do not feel that they are in control.  People know they are not in control of the economy, banks, and the global financial situation.  As humans, we are most happy when we are in control of things around us.

To get us into happiness, so that we can feel that we are in control, we need:

1. Knowledge - we need to be willing to learn. The more knowledge we have about what we are focusing on the better we will feel.

2. Trust - it is a feeling or a sense of control. We need to learn to trust ourselves, Not other people, just YOU. You should always say this to yourself, “I can always find or create a way.  I can make it happen”.

Everyone has their own economy. It’s up to you to decide if you are going to say, “The general economy is slow, my economy is GREAT”.

When you trust yourself, it leads to confidence, which leads to being More Confident.

#3 Clear Strategy

The Wealthy Warrior has a clear strategy, A clear strategy is part of the action.

Look for  opportunities, and always ask yourself, “What can I do”. Make a right decision that is RIGHT for you personally.

What is your personal Intention - “Create Wealth”. However, what level of risk can you take, or how does it affect your personal values.

There are generally 3 investment strategies. The 3 types of people are:

1. Worrier - people who are dazed in fear and protection. They do not invest in anything because of fear.
2. Watcher - those who are cautions and invest a little when they feel comfortable.
3. Warrior - those who attack like a bull, and invest in almost anything

Now, we have the 4th type of strategy.

4. The Wealthy Warrior - They know timing is everything and they know how to focus on a few vehicles. They concentrate, they invest in their own education. They are successful because they understand the area of “right now”.

The chart below explains the Gain and Losses for the 4 types of personality strategies. The Worrier always loses because of inflation. The Watcher gains some and loses some, and is pretty much break even. The Warrior gains big but loses big. The Wealthy Warrior makes wise decision, and always makes money, although he did not gain as much as the Warrior, however, he never loses like the Warrior.

The Wealthy Warrior has  the attitude of “if they can do it, so can I”.

When it comes to making decisions, as a human being, when EMOTION is high, the INTELLIGENT is low.
Most People lose when they let their emotions make the decision. Greed, Fear, Pride, or Anger. These emotions always cause problems.

The Wealthy Warriors use their intelligence to make money,  never bet on One thing, always diversify.

Most people wait for the perfect time. There is never a perfect time.

Aim for the juicy middle of the bulk of the trend. Never shoot for the beginning or the ending of the trend because these periods are too volatile. Besides, the middle of the trend is so much easier to hit because it has a much longer and wider area.

You don’t need to do everything, do whatever  is a good fit for you. Start with small money, get the momentum first.

There is no right or wrong. It is about who are you. Are you a Worrier, a Watcher, a Warrior, or a Wealthy Warrior.

Look for investment that can solve problems right now.

You need to Think and BE the success, be a successful person, then you’ll be successful in everything.

#2  Utilize The Law of Momentum

All Pain Comes From Resistance to What Is.”It is not what happened, it is how you react to what happened that determines your result”.

Focus on Opportunity.

The general Economic Law that we all know is, “Buy Low, Sell High”. However, what most people were doing before the recession, was “buy stupidly high, and hoping to sell even stupider higher”. The problem before the recession was, we did not have too many choices, everything was so high.

Now with this recession in 2009, everything is low or stupidly low. Everything is on sale. We can really do some serious “power shopping” now.

“For a good deal, there is always money”, find the right deal, and you can get the money.

Law of the Momentum - Get into the game first, then the momentum will take over.

The Wealthy Warrior focuses on opportunity and does not focus on obstacles.

This is the best financial opportunity in our lifetime. It’s never been this good since 1929. Take the opportunity now.

In the 1920’s, many people became billionaires by knowing what to invest in, like the Rocketfellers, Kennedy and many others.

The Definition of “Warrior” - One who conquers oneself.

The type and health of the root of a tree, determines the result, or type of fruits on a tree.
Most people look at the wrong place to solve a problem. Do not look at the problem in the fruit, look at the roots.
Your roots are your Mind, Emotional and Spiritual, which determines your Physical…your outcome, such as money, material possessions, health.

Therefore, a “Great You”, the root, will be permanent to provide you with your material or physical results.

The Characteristics of The Wealthy Warrior:

#1 - Realistically Optimistic

Everything is energy, it travels through vibration, waves of ups and downs. Therefore, everything has waves, such as your mood, the economy, stocks, real estate prices etc.
People always jump on the bandwagon at the wrong time. They say, “This time is different”, “It will never goes back to where it was”. The history shows us, it always goes back to where it was, and then more.

Warren Buffet said, “When everyone is fearful, you should be greedy. When everyone is greedy, you should be fearful”.

“After a problem comes no problem”.

A Warrior always takes ACTION. Optimism leads to action. Action is a choice and it is habitual. A warrior should be Realistically Optimistic.

Avoid watching news, it will fill your mind with bad news, which will bring your vibration down.

Energy is created by your thoughts, beliefs and actions.

Energy is transferring all the time. So, you are either AFFECTING people around you, or you are INFECTING others. Ask yourself, what are you right NOW!

Where in your life that you are dealing with negative thoughts about money, finance, health and relationships. The biggest healing comes when you think that you can be healed.

Recently there were a lot of people got caught being “phished” from Direct Messages (DM’s) from Twitter.  There were links on Direct Messages from people you may know, when clicked, it would ask for your Twitter login information. Once you enter your personal information. The “Bad Guys” will take over your identity to send out more DM’s to your friends.

Phishing is almost like “fishing”, the scammers try to catch “Phish” by sending out as many “baits” as possible in the form of emails and DM’s. If they get even a fraction of the people to respond and to surrender their personal information. Then, it will be considered a successful campaign for them.

Phishing goes deeper than just trying to get your Twitter account sign on information. Phishing is used by many bad guys to “phish” for your login information to your Bank, Credit Cards, Ebay or PayPal accounts.

A phishing email will always provide you with a link to ask you to login into your account. It would disguise itself to look like a legitimate link. When click, it would take you to a website that look like a legitimate website. For example, if the email is about a bank, the website would look almost exactly like your own bank’s login page. If Paypal, it would look identical to the Paypal site. It would ask you to login and then often it would ask you to update your personal information, sometimes including your credit cards information.

Every day, there have been many victims resulted from phishing scams. Once the scam artists obtain your information, they can use it to obtain funds and make purchases. With the speed of internet, your accounts can be totally drained in matter of minutes.

The number one rule is, NEVER click on a link from an email or DM to sign on to any website. Always type into your browser directly the URL or link to the website you want to log in. Or, use your own browser’s bookmark or favorite link.

Watch out for emails or DM’s that seeming from people you know. It could be that their email addresses had been compromised.

The scam artists often use emails that appeal to your emotions. They often use fear tactic. For example, they may send your an email to tell you that your bank or Ebay or Paypal account is suspended, unless you update your information. They could send you an email saying that an Ebay customer is complaining about you and that you must respond immediately. They may even appeal to your emotion to help other unfortunate souls.

When in doubt, never respond to an email’s link asking for information. Just open another browser window to type in the domain address of the website you want to go. Then you can login properly to verify the disturbing email messages.

The scammers will always cast their phishing line to try to “phish”, you don’t need to take their “bait”.
